B L E A C H E D BLEACHED (approx. 25 min) is an experimental film that moves between fictionalised ethnography and musical montage.
It follows a small community of four transmasculine figures living in a remote alpine setting in the Swiss mountains. Their daily life is shaped by simple routines. Moments of projection repeatedly interrupt this everyday life. Movements, dances and scenes appear as fragments of an earlier image-world, whose origin remains uncertain.

The project emerged from the research for the feature film In the Pines, in the Pines and extends its visual and conceptual universe into a different temporal and spatial register.

BLEACHED is a collaboration with artists Val Minnig and Cate Jarema.
